For Those Wanting Allardyce

Poyet and Di Canio, Fulhams manager last year, etc

But they had managed in the English leagues. If you're using that argument I'll raise you Pardew, Pearson, Rodgers, Sherwood, Pulis...funny they all didn't manage in the Premier League at one point.

But all have more experience of it. A manager from outside is more of a gamble. We need experience of the league now. No more experiments.

I have doubts about Allardyce too,but I think people are underestimating the job he did to get West Ham promoted and maintain stability.

I think, like Pardew at Newcastle, the fans just never took to him. To me,booing your own team at half time, when they are winning (as regularly happened) says more about West Ham fans than the job he did there.

Advocaat first and foremost. Other than that I honestly don't know but I'd be disappointed if we went for Allardyce.

I like what Advocaat has done, but I don't know why we are so sure he'd be a success long term. MON, PDC, Poyet all started well and saved us. I would like him to stay, but I can't say I'm so desperate to keep him. He's nearly retired and comes after a few short term jobs after all.

I agree like. Moyes a suppose but Dick is number one as far as i can see.

Long term long shmerm. There is no long term nowadays imo.

Don't get you people, have you watched us over the course of this season?! Tbh at the moment I'd happily settle for being able to watch a football match without feeling like my chest is going to implode and spending an obscene amount of time calculating what it will take for us to somehow scrape away from relegation around April/May next year.

I like Allardyce, doesn't pander to the fans or the media. Very straight talking and just gets on with the job, which is putting out strong, hard to beat, physical sides...the football might be shite (WHU looked good at times this year), but I think we'd be safe enough next year.

My preference would still be Advocaat.
