We have drew with Spurs beat Chelsea and drew with Everton. A few weeks ago there was no light. Now its looking up. Haway lads, rome wasn't built in a day.

Keep the red flag flying, were we go were sure to know, we'll keep the red flag flyinf high

Haway haway haway

f***ing couldn't agree more mate - dunno what's wrong with people - I was seriously worried about this match - Everton are a great team and they are very difficult to play against. Still unbeaten at home, lots of winnable games coming up, an embarrassment of riches upfront - so we drew with Everton - would have taken that before the game - and would have love to have taken that score line a few times over the last few years!

We would of lost that game last season. Well done Steve Bruce, getting us back on track.

This is why we support the lads! Get behind them and they will preform!

knee jerkers on here are crazy man and deffo nee shortage of them

Too many judge the whole season one game at a time. Hump Chelsea, draw at home to Everton therefore we must be going backwards. Overall Bruce has improved this club significantly since he came here.

And it was a great game.

Do you think we will sign Wellbeck?

No chance whatsoever. SAF speaks of him as a nailed on future England player, I can't see him wanting to sell. Maybe another season loan if we're lucky, but at this rate you can see Man U wanting him on their bench before too long.

I'm actually shocked at the negativity on here from last night. It was a really entertaining game last night and we took them on. They were only slightly better and I'd happily watch games like that every week. Compare that to the nil all match 2 years ago and think about how far we've come on.
Wonder if I watched the same match as these Pillocks ?

I agree entirely. I can't understand how the BBC reporter thought the game "high on energy but short on quality".

I'd quite happily watch football matches like that every week. Ok some of the passing was sloppy but there were also some very decent moves and bits of skill and more importantly there was lots of goalmouth action - right up to the final whistle. we competed with a 'top 6' team. i really don't understand what the problem is
