Craig Bellamy is very much a "marmite" player.
He has come from a very basic background in Cardiff to become an accomplished Premier League and International player.
He has played for some big teams too e.g. Man. City, Liverpool, Blackburn, NUFC and Celtic.
I have Manchester City supporting mates who hated him before and after he played for them. However they all say Bellamy gave everything when he wore the Sky Blue.
He has had mental health issues though (he recently gave up his Anderlecht coaching job), which may explain some of his exploits.
Personally, I'm grateful he did a superb job for Cardiff City, even if it was at the end of his career...
