Preston for winning the first ever league title?

It's a good; logical answer that deserves to be correct. Preston, though, won the cup in 1938 anyhow.

It's Reading, as they are in the county of Royal Berkshire. I wonder if Slough or Windsor could do the same if they were in the Football or Premier League.

There's one other thing Reading can do as well, but I'm sure most people know this one, to do with shirts.

Now you've said it, I've realised the PNE thing was them never having to wear an away strip.

I'm conceding here mate as I've used all me lifelines, I've no idea
OK it was Joe Baker .. I remember watching him and chanting his name, but I never realised he won his first cap so young. I do recall (from a thread last year) that he was the first player to play for England whilst playing in the Scottish League (for Hibs).

That's what Reading can do as well!

I presume you mean they have the prerogative to never have to play in a change strip? 🤔
I can't recall where I saw this question.. if it was on here then it's going to be pretty short-lived....

- Who is the only player to have received a FA Cup winners medal at the Old Wembley, the Millennium Stadium, AND new Wembley?
