FM19 is coming out on the 2nd of November but you could get it two weeks earlier than that (19/10/18) if you pre-order the physical version of the game.

Anyone getting it? Canny gutted to be losing some good FM18 saves.

Won the premier league with Wigan on FM18, great achievement.

Used to be the biggest day of the year when the new Champ Man came out - remember geting a free mitre ball with the purchase one year:lol:
Be lucky if I play it once or twice a month these days

  4. Peaked at 01/02 imo. I think there's too much stuff going on in the modern FM games. Takes far too long to do a season.

Would love to but I simply don’t have the time these days.

Which is deeply concerning as I’m 27, have no kids and don’t live with my girlfriend.

I’d have to stop seeing my friends, stop exercising and cut out personal/domestic cleaning. Which begs the question how any adult has time?

That's available for free fully updated with all the latest stats/transfers.

Much prefer the newer ones though.

How do people find the time?

    Where can I find this?

They made it too in-depth IMO. It can take hours just to get to the start of the season. I've played the mobile version for the past 3 years and much prefer it.

03/04 was the best IMHO - the last one before the split between eidos and SI - it had the best game play and the 2d pitch kept it simple. As soon as they switched to a 3d pitch it became too much of a high end game. Even FM18 won't play the full graphics on my i7 SP5 and the fan kicks in as soon as I load it up.

If you are single with no kids and a non-life sapping job then I'd imagine people have all the time in the world.
That was me 15 years ago - most evenings and weekends (when not in the pub) could be dedicated to CM/FM

I loved 01/02 . Think I did 40 seasons but that was when i was 13 and hadn't quite discovered lasses and drink.

Think I might get the mobile version if its good enough to kill the odd hour here and there

Then the data updates here - CM 01/02 Website

Can get it working on mobile apparently but no idea how.

Out of interest what's the difference between the patches and the data updates? Some of the jargon on there is mental.

It's alright and a good time waster and its basically just a stripped down version of the actual game.

Personally just find it far too easy, had back to back promotions with Spennymoor Town all the way to the Championship with the same Striker scoring 35+ goals every season despite his ingame stats being awful and him being an actual Spenny player in real life.

Like I say though, good time waster and gives you a good ego boost.

The patches would just be to iron out bugs/glitches and improve performance, after 17 years they've probably nailed it...

The data stuff would update all the player names/stats/potential etc to 2018.

Another shout for the mobile version if you’re stuck on time but travel a lot. Not at the wheel please though.

I have the version for the Nintendo switch that was fairly stripped back but enjoyable.
