I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous, football has to be the most diverse sport in the world and to introduce an initiative where you have to hire a certain % of people based on their skin colour is very dangerous.

Rap isn't diverse enough you could argue
Was that team not picked on merit? If we're playing woke police, where is the Asian representation?Logon or register to see this image
I think you havent seen the full details....Its not about players , its about off the field e.g coaches /management/admin/directors etc .....SKY said , while there is 39% of players that are diverse , there is only 6% working off the field behind the scenes.I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous, football has to be the most diverse sport in the world and to introduce an initiative where you have to hire a certain % of people based on their skin colour is very dangerous.
6% is closer to the national average in the general population in the UK. 43% is a massively skewed figure, I don't see anyone complaining about that and rightly soIt doesn’t seem to be so much about players, as about the other roles in clubs.
43% of players being black or mixed race, and only 6% of senior roles being so says something isn’t right somewhere to me. It would be interesting to see how this compares with the number of applications for those roles.
80% of the population of England is White British so its say that this is a perfectly fair representation of today's England.Logon or register to see this image
This...seen him interviewed a few times and he comes across very well tbf and quite a humble guy, nothing like what I would have expected. He seems like a pleasant enough chap and if it helps folk under challenging circumstances or provides a helpful experience then great.
As to the diversity stuff, I have no idea as without the figures @Roger spoke of, I have no idea if or why it would be skewed.
I didn't know much about him either bar his odd track, watched his Louie interview and he won me over like. A lad who did some questionable things as a kid worked at his craft and pulled himself up. He's not what you expect from his earlier music etc.This...seen him interviewed a few times and he comes across very well tbf and quite a humble guy, nothing like what I would have expected.
Was very good on Graham Norton recently and has the "yoof" of this country in the palm of his hand.
Find something else to be bothered about manI'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous, football has to be the most diverse sport in the world and to introduce an initiative where you have to hire a certain % of people based on their skin colour is very dangerous.
Not just applicants but take into account qualifications and ability too.It doesn’t seem to be so much about players, as about the other roles in clubs.
