Wouldn’t shock me. I’m not surprised he goes conservative with the midfield 3. And the 2 either side of Kane would be Saka (who looks very good), and Sterling (who has our only goals)

I wouldn’t pick it, but it’s not a shock.

I do think people play fantasy football on here sometimes, it’s all a balance and we need to control the game

Not sure what people are expecting tonight, I doubt Southgate will set up to attack like Denmark, Italy or Spain.

We'll be defensive, with the priority being not to concede IMO.

It's going to be a 0-0 or 1-0. I certainly won't be complaining if we win 1-0.

We’ve conceded the least number of goals in the tournament so far (albeit playing one game fewer than most of the teams). It would seem folly to rip that up now. I think Grealish, Sancho, Foden, etc, can make a big impact from the bench later in game against (hopefully) a tired German defence, if necessary.

Starting-wise, I can see a back three with Walker playing as a right-sided centre back alongside Maguire and Stones.

Shaw and Trippier as WBs.

Rice and Phillips a two-man midfield.

Up front Sako and Sterling supporting, either side of Kane.
