We've had a mini revival in Notts but it's only a couple of nests this time rather than the enmasse version a few weeks ago

This was yesterday in Peterlee. Never had this before, was like a load insects watched the Dambusters and piled into every single f***ing drink I tried to take. No sign of them today. I like them flying ants, necky twats. Never seen them before.

Loads been emerging for the past half an hour in my garden. Two big dragonflies have been picking them off and now two blackbirds are hoovering them up as they emerge from the ants nest.

Sitting outside the pub in shields this afternoon, flying ants, aphids and a couple of ladybirds. Beer mat on the top of my pint to prevent drownings.
