Flying “maniacs” over Seaburn beach today



Being too lazy to look into it myself, I assume that when the motor is on it is elevating, then when it’s switched off you start to descend?
I was surprised how manoeuvrable they were - one lad was doing quite hard banked turns but seemed to lose height as he did the turn. I imagine they use wind to climb but they was barely a breath at Seaburn yesterday.
 
Harness around his waist caused that, just finished a flight in heat, sweating.

Think I’ve mentioned to you before about my paragliding off babadag mountain. Why the fook did I think it was a good idea to book that whilst pissed I’ll never know. Especially as I’m shit scared of heights.
