He was poor again. Had two good opportunities for the equaliser and his efforts were pathetic. You have to make the most of your chances, and he wasted the two. Very poor.

The game wasn't lost on that chance FFS - we were beaten by a bankrolled team

SUNDERLAND TIL I DIE

Very surprising that Gus would put him in over Altidore (who while not scoring, played very well recently- not counting the Hull game where we were down a man, and then the Arsenal game when we had no attack and everyone played bad) if he was coming off injury. very suspicious

i was going to start a thread but beaten to it... gone to pot... shite and a waste of space today as of the rest of the season...

yest city are a great team but that cock up shafted our chances... we should have been back in it

The Fletcher v Altidore argument going on all season skirts the truth. They are both absolutely terrible and do not deserve to be playing.
Very much this. Playing without any kind of goal threat up front has really cost us. Hopefully scocco can slot in up front or out left so borini can be our striker. Why did we let wickham go? At least he has some confidence when he sees the goal.

Absolute waste of... oh wait! You don't know what you're talking about. We lost to a better team on the day, one that had they been on better form would have smashed us 5-0 or so.

Many on here have been hoping Borini would play up front for weeks now. Hopefully today will show the way for the rest of the season. As for Fletcher. Not sure what is worse a plodder like Jozy who gives it his best or Fletcher who has talent but looks as though the bottom of the vodka bottle is his best friend these days
