Flash guns for Nikon D3000

Any of you lot got any decent recommendations for a flash for a D3000? I have absolutely no idea when it comes to these so anything decent that doesnt cost too much would be grand

I have an SB600.

It's excellent, but not cheap. Like most photography gear, you get what you pay for. Any half decent hotshoe flash will be a massive improvement on the built in one.

Probably the best choice - Nikon's own stuff is usually way better than 3rd party stuff.

That was my thinking, not bothered paying a little bit extra to get the official, should do the job.
