FLA MARCH TODAY IN LONDON

I know people who have been on the march today and it's an inclusive march, not just lads but families. From what I hear there's been barely any trouble and a wide range of ethnicities, more representitive of minorities than you actually see within stadia. Even from a multicutural city like mine it's rare to see season ticket holders that are non white.

What the protesters will achieve, I don't know, but it's a movement that shows that regardless of alliegencies it's a common cause & something people feel passionate about. And fair play to them. Anti racism march would be undermined if the EDL hijacked it.

So anti racism marches are a joke but blatant homophobic comments are acceptable? I bet you pine for the 70s. What makes your comment different?

Fair enough mate. Not ideal in my eyes, people who enjoy organised violence campaigning against something but at the same time, I won't denigrate the working classes right to march for anything as long as it's peaceful and not just an excuse for a kick off-which from what you say, it wasn't.

Sounds beautiful- today anti terrorism tomorrow a march against austerity or nuclear weapons. I suppose the problem they might have is their demographic, hooligans, probably isn't one that any right minded MP is going to champion.
Football fans in general were victimised and ostacised by Maggie Thatcher, along with those working in the mines, the utility companies and anyone else who dared to protest against her "vision" The fact people take the piss about others who are so disinfrachised about the state of the country they live in, like the OP, shows how ground down by policy makers that apathy rules.

I hear it was peaceful, obviously some were dickheads but all in all it was calmer than that Robinson twat jumping on a cause bringing him and his knobheads in to Sunderland this year.

Fair enough. But my question was is this a march of people like your average fan or mostly people who would align themselves with a firm? The reason I ask and again, I could be wrong and haven't seen any footage, is it like a gay pride march where you'll get kids and music, good humour and fun or just marching along?
Sorry mate, I missed this post.

Look at the lack of footage, if it was a big old violent free for all I bet there would be more shaky mobile phone video footage than 30 twats running at each other then running away than has appeared. The media would have a field day if it turned in to amass brawl.

You could take that eagle in a scrap nee bother I reckon.....
Haha! I'm 5 ft 11, weigh 11 stone and the only thing I've thrown a fist at is my missus' vagina!

blatant homophobic comment?
Aye , you're right, saying a bunch of lads walking mincing together. Folk can get offended by anything nowadays.
Mincing , definition ' walking in dainty manner or gaint' -
West Ham , millwall , Chelsea and Spurs walking holding hands , walking in a dainty manner.
Is that better?

paranoid you man

FLA is 'football lads alliance' like. So has a little bit to do with it, however embarrassing it is
So you think the way to tackle extremism is to have a load of bell whiff racists marching through London. All that will do is help turn more young Muslims onto the wrong path.
How do you know those on the march are "bell wiff racists?"
And if criticism turns people towards radicalization, then why do you criticise those on the march.
Your being played.

30kplus???
Yep, ask google, shocking dereliction of duty.

The only kind of bloke who would take his family to a match like this is a shit dad.

Who are they, are they some sort of edl group

I'd understood that they're effectively a collection of people who enjoy organised violence around football. Campaigning against organised violence by other people. I've been enlightened on this thread and by all accounts, yeah there's a lot of firms there but it's more of a family occasion and the 30 man brawl was just a footnote in what will be remembered as a movement of integrity and substance in the same vein as grrenham common, the poll tax and anti austerity marches.

Why criticize people protesting against terrorists?
So you are happy that Sharia May let back in 30k plus soldiers who had been fighting for Isis, an organization that has declared war on the UK.
Fckin unbelievable.

I'm sure there are 30k ex isis soldiers in the uk, as sure as i am that Isis are shitting it now they've seen a bunch of neanderthals with badly spelled banners chanting like half wits. f***ing ridiculous.
