I've been up north many times following Brighton but have always been a bit pissed when eating fish and chips. Even kebabs taste good to me when I'm pissed.

There are no ones near by although Jupps is not bad at all. The nearest would be Superfish in Ashtead, Surrey. Worth a visit. Restaurant very cheap and free bread and pickles. 10/10. Also a new one at the crazy golf place in Hastings just opened. I supply most shops in Hastings and get them for free in most places but to be honest , most are shit. They mostly do good chips but the batter on the fish makes it inedible. Anyway, the other day I was walking along in Hastings and smelt dripping. Followed my nose and found a kiosk. Asked the question and yes, it was dripping - they were Scottish. Huge portions and next time I will just have cod bites as they are more than enough. They do batter as well. In a separate container. regardless though , Hastings is a shit hole over ridden by alcoholics and smack heads.
