Good stats these. One thing what does hual indicate for wickets? Possibly haul ?

Definitely a field first weather forecast. I bet they were over the moon with how much it nipped off the seam.

Would anyone other than our selectors have picked Wood and Archer on an English wicket?

Said when the 13 man squad was announced that "guaranteed" one of those left out would be Wood or Archer and Broad and Anderson would play. Didn't factor in the England selectors

Only Anderson out of those bowlers who can move the ball reliably. Woakes or Curran may have been a better shout than Archer.

Aye that chilly May Test in CLS always sticks in the memory for me as a kind of nadir, around 2009, and I feared we may never see another Windies Test tour on these shores, it was that bad

I agree. And I think Holder is a huge part of it on and off the pitch. Big character.
