The club can't do anything right. This is a good thing to do and one that the new CEO wants to do more of (he's only been here 3 months ffs). Get us back closer to the fans. I think this is a good thing. Certainly can't do any harm. It's just a shame there isn't a pit we could take them down.
Aye, take them down a pit , take some bolt cutters to the lift cable and pour cement down the shaft.
Or would that be too good for them?

Why should footballers give two fucks what the fans think? It's just a job to 99% of theses guys. They earn as much as they can as fast as they can because they know it will be over soon. We expect Kone to be loyal to us, to stay and say he loves us yet in the next breath we all want Rodwell to fuck off and are happy when he's injured.

Apparently its par for the course for moyes.
He tried similar stuff in spain ( meeting the community, empathy stuff etc ) . How anyone could fall for it bewilders me.
How is some production line drone going to have anything in common or be impressed at multi millionnaires milling around his workstation.
At the moment the team and more especially moyes are on the nose with everyone except the ones that should be concerned..messrs bain and short.
Meet nissan workers and then proceed to get twatted by tin pot bournemouth???
Well done dave...again!
Ok- I'm getting confused . What is the position?
A.the players are a bunch of mercenaries who are totally remote from the community
B. Anyone who tries to bring players/ club and community together is a useless ****
C. Anything moyes/ Bain / the club in general do is crap and evidence of their total lack of management skills

D. all of the above
E. some of the above

If they keep playing badly (and have a questionable attitude) surely other clubs will know? Where will they go when their contracts are up? Who will be interested in signing them? If they don't work hard it's ultimately their own careers that will suffer. Why can't they see that?

See, it's logical to think it would work like that, but football isn't logical. What actually happens is bottom half Prem teams/Promoted teams talk themselves into thinking the player they want is good enough, and it was the rest of them that were bad and dragged them down, and therefore they are worth signing for free/little money, so there is always somewhere else for them to go.

Kone was 1st back on the bus.

Apparently Defoe was very knowledgeable about cars / the Infiniti brand & N'Dong spoke more English today than in all the time he's been in the UK.

To be fair to Kone he had already done the rounds, posing for pictures, signing autographs having a bit crack etc before defoe and the rest of the squad had turned up

Felt sorry for McNair as I think most ppl didn't know who he was....looked like a youth team player tagging along

O'Shea, Larsson, Pickford, Defoe & Mannone were the ones that seemed to hang around / talk to staff.

That doesn't surprise me.

For all I think it was a stupid idea, I think you could have guessed who would have made an effort whilst there and who would have fucked off at the first opportunity.
