First team visiting Nissan tomorrow

I think it used to work about 50 years ago, when players had some empathy with the fans, and used to socialise with them. Now they believe they are a class above, when actually, a lot of them are, well too many adjectives

Just got a text off a pal who works there. Says Moyes is taking the first team there tomorrow in a "this is how real people work" motivational technique.
Should they not be trying to practice at football?

This whole Nissan thing is a proper Sunderland thing to do. Not because it makes us a tight nit, hard working club that has a close bond and great relationship with the fans. But because we have no f***ing idea what the point in it was and who organised it!!! Seriously man why the fuck do we need to have a media guy uploading stuff on social network of a few players going to Nissan man??? Why do the players need the team bus to get there as if they are travelling to a game? Every single thing safc do recently baffles me. Good night from me folks.

As mentioned earlier in the thread if they didn't all get the bus we'd no doubt have had them rocking up in Bentleys and the likes which would have gone down even worse

The club can't do anything right. This is a good thing to do and one that the new CEO wants to do more of (he's only been here 3 months ffs). Get us back closer to the fans. I think this is a good thing. Certainly can't do any harm. It's just a shame there isn't a pit we could take them down.

If this was Big Sam the comments would be "Get in Sam lad, get the bastards closer to the fans, genius idea to hopefully show the players what the average working class fan has to do to be able to come to the games". As it's Moyes though it's "lol Moyesy is clueless, lost da plot, call dem all wankers lol".

Apparently its par for the course for moyes.
He tried similar stuff in spain ( meeting the community, empathy stuff etc ) . How anyone could fall for it bewilders me.
How is some production line drone going to have anything in common or be impressed at multi millionnaires milling around his workstation.
At the moment the team and more especially moyes are on the nose with everyone except the ones that should be concerned..messrs bain and short.
Meet nissan workers and then proceed to get twatted by tin pot bournemouth???
Well done dave...again!

if you think Sam would have got that reaction after getting 2 points from 10 games, then you are sadly mistaken, the same for Moyes. Why the fuck his points haul, piss poor performance,s on course for the worst Premiership team record is ignored, just so this nonsense can be spouted is beyond me. You can swallow all of this corporate bullshit about having an identity, I'd rather have a few wins.

So did nobody smash that cunt Kone's teeth out with a spanner then? Fucks sake man.

Thing is, Kone etc. are quite content in the knowledge that they've hit the jackpot with the contracts they've signed, so why should they give a fuck?
They have absolutely no connection to the area other than a cash cow to fund lifestyles they could never have dreamed of, and with everyone continually blowing smoke up their arses why should they care?

If they keep playing badly (and have a questionable attitude) surely other clubs will know? Where will they go when their contracts are up? Who will be interested in signing them? If they don't work hard it's ultimately their own careers that will suffer. Why can't they see that?

They will have no f***ing interest in how real people work.

Unless nissan have set up a line for lads who cannot do their jobs and build cars that look more like conceptual art, are only fit for scrap, and are an overhead drain.
