Hillsborough for me. The "its an easy one for Norman" game. It had 0-0 written all over it. A couple of minutes to go I turned to my dad and asked if I could go to the replay, 10 seconds left and Norman dropped the easiest of catches straight on Mark Bright's head
Suppose it's beat to start your Sunderland supporting life with an abject 1-0 defeat so you know what you're in for from the outset :)

Selhurst park first season in the premiership the game we got relegated by losing 0-1 bloody dean holdsworth

Ayresome Park, in the home end anarl.

This for me an all. Me Da was a smoggie, but I was there supporting the lads. All I remember is we lost 1-0, I think Rowell put a free kick over the bar and Elliott ripped his shorts and changed them on the pitch.

Lost 2-1 for me.

We scored first at the other end during the first half, they replied with two in the second half. I didn't actually manage to see that much.
