Final nail in coffin for Bury

The EFL are complicit in this sorry affair. Letting someone with Dale's track record buy a club in debt for a quid then not forcing a sale when he's (allegedly) been offered a decent amount.

Knowing what a football club brings to a community for two to go today is a travesty. I feel for the fans who through no real fault of their own are watching their clubs go pop today and can't do a thing about it.

Hopefully they'll both be back.

The Peterborough chairman seemed confident that both would be taken over today.

You'd think they'd have released news by now if either club was still working on a takeover.

Put it another way then, which league will the phoenix club reappear in ? I'm not familiar with the NW Leagues.

The highest league outside the Football League that would be willing to accept them.

On the plus side, Bury fans can now support Man City and not feel guilty about it.

A sad day for football. I thought the Bury deal would fall through due to the legal wrangles over the ground. Think there will be a few days in court over the ground ownership, after they've gone under too.

Did anyone else see that prick in the red shirt interrupting the Sky Sports report just now?
The reporter did well, but when he said “excuse me we are trying to broadcast....we are trying to report on saving your club”
The prick replied “not my club”....and then stood behind the reporter pretending to cry. What a tosser.
Was crying at that. :lol::lol:
