FFP and ways to get around it.

Can't we do what villa did and the owners buy the stadium for 250 million.

Or what city did and do the words best Sponsership deal, 250 million, sundelland stadium of light, or a shirt deal for 3 billion?

Aren't Derby being investigated right now for their owner buying the stadium for £80m when their own records showed the value to only be £40m??

Why's that?

Current ownership issue four times as many shares as currently exist but then don't buy any of them, instead allowing FPP to buy their 75+% share for however many $ it's been agreed that they'll put in to future-proof our finances.
And how much will that raise?
A year down the line if we have got promotion the existing owners can't fund any share purchases and they won't want to dilute their holding.

Set up a box at the stadium where each seat in the box is a special "£100,000 to meet the owner" and then have the new owners just buy them all. Club gets legit sales revenue of 1m+ and no rules have been broken?

Were being bought buy billionaires Marra.

None of this small time league 1 malarkey, make every seat in the stadium worth 100k

Dell could buy every seat in the premier concourse for $1000 a game and donate to the local children in aid of the economy etc

It wouldn't though, the £1bn would be counted in this season's calculations so if we started spending it next season and didn't make as much in as what we spent it would count as a loss even though our bank balance would show just under £1bn. Equally they seem to have tests regarding market value so it's unlikely we could just sell a few seats at £10,000,000 each. There's no doubt other ways around it but they would need a bit of creativity, thankfully I'm sure these lads will have suitably creative people to call on!

Fine. We’ll just spend the £1bn in January then and call it a donation ;)

What are the punishments for breaking ffp?

Had a quick look and it's a maximum of a 12 points deduction. Would that really matter if we were to win 40 of our 46 games in The Championship with Mbappe scoring a record 80 goals?

Thus diluting Donald’s share of the business for no gain. Hence he’s unlikely to go for this

Then that would transfer to your seat so you’ll no longer be able to attend the games. Happy with that?

Couldn't they just gift each current season ticket holder half a million each with the proviso they all spend it on 15 year season tickets?

23000 x 500,000 = 11.5 billion in season ticket sales

no that's why Derby are in trouble, selling their stadium at an inflated price is against the rules

City did all that before FFP came in (they were bought a year before FFP was implemented, in fact that was the main reason it came in, so the established top sides could stop anyone else gatecrashing their party)

We all believe this takeover is fantastic news and think this is going to help to take the club forward and hopefully we get back to the Premier league as quickly as possible. However I do wonder how much the new owners will be allowed to input into the club bearing in mind mind we will probably already be running at a small loss. Can we expect any money in January or will we have to wait until we are in the Championship. Once promoted what sort of investment can we expec? Sorry if this has been covered.
dont city just keep paying massive fines, just part and parcel of doing bsuiness
