No Bramble for 2 months and Mensah for a few weeks.

So the question is; which of these would you like to see given a chance along side Turner?

Seems the most likely option with richardson going back to LB, only worry is the memory of onuoha's shocking performance in that position against west ham.

I think Turner and Da Silva are just far too slow. I'd switch Nedum, if he's comfortable there, or else just show Anton some faith.

How has Anton played centre half the other games this season or is everyone just basing their opinions on last night? Turner wasn't really amazing either if that's the case

Ferdinand, I dont rate da silvas all round game, and im sure the main reason people like him is because hes foreign and has a "cool" name

Da Silva, just for the song

I'm joking, he's a better defender.

Ferdinand is more suited to playing in the Premiership even if he has his iffy games and concentration lapses and on this season so far (if not last night) he should be ahead of Da Silva.

I gave Ferdinand the benefit of the doubt last night as he hasn't been playing regularly but he certainly did enough to keep Da Silva out.

Anton was responsible for the first goal as he gave the ball away when not under any pressure. Not saying that Da Silva should be ahead, but the last time Ferdinand started he lasted 18 minutes, the time before he didn't last the first half and the time before that he was responsible for the Arsenal goal

I won't be truly happy with either of them at the moment

relegation scrap.

Bardsley - Onuoha - Turner - Richardson

Man City fans seem to think that Ned is a far more accomplished CB than he is RB anyway. We could do with his extra mobility in the centre as well.

Either...not really bothered.i reckon they would both do a decent job
