Totally agreed mate.I remember Dave "Boy" Green, The Fen Tiger. He was a good, tough pro but utterly out of his depth with Leonard. He fared a bit better with Carlos Palomino, but ultimately a bit short of the quality of the top, top fighters. I didn't know that about his ongoing friendship with Leonard. I think that's wonderful. He always came across as a decent bloke, Sugar Ray. Mutual respect lies st the heart of boxing. Other sports could do well to take a leaf....
Boxers bad mouth each other before a fight to try to gain a psychological advantage, but at the end of the fight, there's usually mutual respect for one another, which I like to see.
