Hope it goes ok mate 😎

I couldn't do the injections after my op last year. Had to inject a blood thinner in my belly every day for a week. Bottled it and got my Mam to do it for me 😊
Cheers becs
We are alike in that we both don't like needles and blood tests, but needs must I'm afraid.

I hope your day is going well πŸ‘
Afternoon all

Beautiful weather outside more like August than February
Aft'noon mate
A beautiful sunny day, here too πŸ‘

Bottled the blood, the thinner or the belly, Red, la? Sounds a bit gory, treither way.

Bottled doing the injecting into my belly. Was laying with the needle poised but I couldn't do it. The bairn couldn't look but was standing on the landing yelling encouragement but I still couldn't do it πŸ˜‚

It is. I'm enjoying myself driving around today 😁

It's just a routine check up and tests I have to have, every few months, because I collapsed and was found unconscious a year ago, and the docs say the collapse was connected to a cerebral problem.
My previous scans and blood tests have come back fine, but it's something the docs want to monitor.
The worse bit is the Synacthen test, as I'm not a fan of needles sticking in any of my body parts (in fact, I'd rather spend a week, in the company of Joey Barton, than suffer a couple of hours of repeated blood tests) πŸ˜…
There's always an upside to adversity though, and the upside is that when this round of tests are done, I get to call into the hospital cafe, for a large Americano, and a fresh cream, Vanilla slice, as thick as an old Yellow pages phone book, and very moreish too πŸ˜‹

Have a good and peaceful day, my friend. πŸ‘
Ha, ha, the reward makes the suffering almost worthwhile. I haven't had a vanilla slice for decades! Enjoy it, marra. I remember you mentioning your collapse but I hadn't twigged that it was a neurological issue. If your bloods are normal, hopefully it's one of those things that was an inexplicable one-off. The body has an incredible capacity for self-healing doesn't it? It's a strange & beautiful thing. Well, just strange, in my case, ha, ha.

Morning Hanky, Dilli, Mr Pork Sword, MM, Sterky, Becs & all

NOTS for me

Out for graft this morn/early aft for meetings & negotiations in a council office.

Then back for my other graft & meal prep

Thanks peeps for those kind thoughts & words.

If ya hadn’t guessed our 4 yr old granddaughter is at the middle of all this, she’s doing really well.

Avvegudden everyone

Anar, sorry, I was just being linguistically mischievous. I couldn't resist. But I've chastised myself & I'm now composing this reply from the bleakness of the naughty step....

Cheers mate.
I have a form of Addison's disease, and the docs say the collapse was probably just a one off, and that my whole system crashed, much like a computer crashes, but are keeping an eye on it, just in case.
They're worried that I Iive alone, and if I collapse again, I might not be found in time.
I'm a big believer in what will be will be, and I can't afford to spend my days worrying about what if's and various other scenario's.
Besides, I want to be around long enough to see the Lads, win the Champions League. 😊
