FC Union Berlin

I saw Union Berlin v Nurenburg 2 seasons ago. Capacity crowd even though it was a Monday night 2nd division game live on TV. In fact I could only get a ticket with the away fans as everywhere else was sold out.

Fanatical support, they never stopped singing the whole game.

I've gone there to watch some matches. It's a great experience. Feels like a backyard club and how it should be. Great beer and food as well. Except the fish Rolls. No idea what that was about.

Superb tribute to the fans who never got to see them in top flight.
I saw that in fact I was gonna post it later. Fantastic tribute.

Their ground was refit with labour largely coming from the fans and it's class

Don't know if they're over extending with the plan to expand to 37k like that's talked about

Unsere liebe. Unsere mannschaft. Unsere stolz. Unsere verein. Eisern Union!

Another video about the club & fans albeit from 4 years ago.

Back out there weekend commencing 01/11 for the derby.

I worked with a lad from East Berlin who was a Hertha Fan. He was hoping they'd get promoted for the Derby games.
Surely he should have suppprted Union if he was from the East ?

They came in there thousands last year at our place for a pre season friendly infact they had more fans than us
The previous season to that we played them at thereā€™s and they stormed a bar that a few of our lot were in ( not fighters or nothing) and gassed it and kicked the lads to fcuk and nicked a few flags , all totally uncalled for
