Favourite historical film

Lew Ayres or John "boy" Walton?

Interested in your remarques, ba-dum tish.
😁
30s version is the classic but I didn't mind the remake either . Used to watch the 30s version as a kid in the 60s , haunting even then
Beneath Hill 60 is a good Ww1 movies too

How can you make that film before the installation of domestic ring mains, and just 5 amps at that. You need at least 22,000 volts to bring a corpes back to life...so I've been told
Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide Gorilla?! Is that what you're telling me !?!?”

Your hobbies are your business, but there is a moral issue here, namely the over use of a precious commodity...and YES, were talking electrcity, but care ye not that pensioners like myself are huddling around a 1950's single bar fire, fighting for our very survival.

Selfish doesn't come into it

Some good choices, and some outright weird ones.

More for the pot:
Doctor Zhivago
Cromwell
Glory
The Duchess
Joan of Arc
Last of the Mohicans
Gangs of New York
