Favourite gigs of the year.

I was at the Stranglers Mayfair gig and Fingers at the City Hall..first time i saw the Subs was the Bierkeller or Dingwalls whatever it's name was in Newcastle.
The Mayfair gig was superb - they opened with Threatened and it just got better and better from there
I saw 100 or so gigs in 81 - everyone worth seeing and a few that weren't but what a year

@King Kareoke have you see that Glenn Hughes is doing a 50th anniversary show featuring Deep Purple`s Burn and The Dan Truth are supporting at the Boiler Shop on 17th October.

Just seen that. Brilliant and a definite yes from me. I think tickets are on sale tomorrow. Cheers @mickb2112

Are you going to see Black Star Riders this week

We’ve only been to one. Tears For Fears at Newcastle Arena. They were promoting their new album The Tipping Point and as you do we knew all of the new songs.
It’s just a great feeling when you go to see someone whose stuff you know.
They were brilliant as they always are.
Still waiting for the gig at Pryzm in Kingston to be rescheduled... It's a small venue and it's really good. It got postponed 'cos the Queen died and they haven't rescheduled yet 🙄.
For me the best gig of last year was Phoenix at Brixton Academy which was just stunning... Saw loads of gigs last year too, including Coldplay in Brussels - say what you like about them but their shows are brilliant...

Yes, looking forward to that - it`s a great bill too - Michael Monroe and his band are always great to see and Motorhead`s Phil Campbell should be good too.
