Anybody got any to share? Always love finding musicians from abroad to listen to, especially if the songs are in their mother tongue. I’ll get the ball rolling with a popular band from Germany since I’ve recently moved there. The band has a WAD upfront and Georgios Samaras on drums so can’t really go wrong with that :cool:
Divvent care if you don’t like but it’s a catchy tune ;)
 


Assuming this is really about bands singing in their native language? Loads of African, middle Eastern and Asian stuff I love but within Europe...

The one that stands out for me is Eros Ramazzotti.

I don't understand a word of Italian but love his music.

TRAITORS!

Nowt to out there but I like a bit of Youssou N'Dour, MC Solaar, Songhoy Blues, Buena Visita Social Club, Ana Tijoux, Orishas, Sergio Mendes, Bajofondo, Gotan Project, Bomba Estero and quite a few others. Usually just as background music.
