Favourite bread



Italian semolina - great with most fish dishes and pastas
Crusty sourdough - great with soups, stews, and salads
Brioche - great for sandwiches, especially breakfast sandwiches
This is my thinking
“Best bread” is a tricky on to say “that one” as they are specific to what you want them for. Dipping in a boiled egg for instance, you wouldn’t use French bread. You wouldn’t have a kebab in tiger bread either. It’s a tough one to call as one loaf doesn’t fit all.

Agreed. The type of bread depends on the meal. Just like beer/wine. The whole meal must be put together to create an atmosphere of delectable Zen.

Dabbled with making my own a couple of year ago. Rosemary, garlic and chilli turned out best. Class with a decent beef stew. Had a few nightmare’s as well to be fair!

Preference is for a round flattened out piece covered in tomato sauce pepperoni jalapeños and grated cheese then baked in a hot oven preferably on a stone
