Obviously an unreal day but how was it compared to big SAFC games etc? The place looked absolutely jumping on the highlights.

Towards the end it reminded me of the Sheffield United play off game. And the feeling was up their with beating the mags. People you wouldn’t usually see standing up shouting.

Had tears streaming down my eyes.

One if not the best sporting event I have attended. The emotions I had were all over worse than a scatty woman.

Off to do it all again at Manchester.

It was absolutey mental, never seen anything like it at a cricket game. Full stand was up standing for the last 45 minutes of play which is something in itself.

The only comparable thing I could say in terms of the tension in stands for each delivery towards the end was like a penalty shoot-out (especially balls leach was on strike). The celebrations were as mad as I’ve seen by cricket standards was people diving all over with each boundary, was a old bloke behind me just burst into tears when we won it at the end.

Spare a thought for us lot.
Went Friday, left the ground at 12.50 and never went back
