the bloke, sporting wise, is the most prominent and influential sports administrator that this region has ever produced. In fact he is one of the most influential sports administrators who ever lived (no exaggeration).
responsible for The Ahses, the FA Cup he used to live in John street and ironically was born in the same street where SAFC were formed - Norfolk Street.

thats fair comment because it was the previous owners who put the block on it. Dont ask me why.I think at the time the building wasn't in use & was up for sale, since then it has been sold, refurbished & is now offices for one our MP's
