Fans getting frustrated and worried about KLD ownership already ?

I thought the club was on a very sound financial footing under your marras? You were telling all and sundry that was the case not that long ago
tthey said that not me, and anyway...the pandemic came and the club is now hugely loss making...of the order of £10m this year...who do you think is paying for that

You don't think a potentially bad atmosphere at home games could have repercussions?

To be honest alf, I think it has very little baring.

A short term plan that the majority would have agreed with has just happened. Its left us really poor off.

A long term plan would have a better chance at producing something the fans want at some point.

Fan appeasement is not conducive to intelligent process.

I have long-term confidence in the owner. I think that he’ll bring sustainability and most importantly success to our club within the next 5 years.

Short-term wise, it’s hard not to worry about having a defence of Gooch, Younger, Wright, Flanagan, 3 weeks before our fourth season in league one
Success?

But who's advised him on the appointments made? He wouldn't have known of these people, why would he?

Agree like. Unfortunately I suspect the manager will sour the atmosphere which will lead to KLD taking some fire in the wake of it before things get any better.

Hope i'm wrong. Can't be arsed with another season of failed manager clinging on till he's punted and then the season starting all over again midway
Given how badly Johnson finished the season that is the worry.

We had the highest wage bill purely of previous commitments.

And parachute money helped donald buy the club.
parachute money was owed to SBC Corporation..they legally owned it..nothing to do with Donald et al..was used to pay for a debt Donald anbd his mates inherited..they went along with shorts lie about leaving the club debt free, and about "giving" him £40m..but the para money was long gone to its rightful owner by the time donald came in..
what previous commitments did we have when we had the highest wage bill in the league last year?

The whole point is that the parachute payment never belonged to SBC. But then you already know this.

No it didn't. It was there as a security in the event of non payment. Like a charge over your house when you take out a mortgage. But as I say, you already know this.
ah but tghere was a clause in it saying if we got relegated agin..payment had to be made in full and immediately..safc didnt have the money..donbald wasnt owner at that stage so nothing to do with him..

Mcgeady was pre donald. Aiden O'brien a top earner? Ha'way man.
He extended his contract on by far the best paid in this league.

Aob is, bizarre but still..

?

Parachite payments were security over Donald not paying.

He didn't pay so the security was used.
