Fan disorder a ‘reflection’ of the country - Southgate

Something I see often on social media when people behave awfully is a clamour to actually defend the person. Probably desperate to come across as caring, empathetic & righteous. Often they chuck the “they must have mental health” card in. As if that’s some kind of excuse for doing really shit things.

I think it all adds to the pot to the shit society we have turned into.

Suspect this is the first end of season of what 3 maybe (??) that fans have been fully engaged with.
Over exuberance, pent up excitement/aggression/resentment etc.... a feeling that ALL rules (not just covid ones) no longer apply . I think Gareth is spot on. Seeing a lot of anti social behavior on almost a daily occurrence now in every day life. Its quite difficult to look past the examples being set at the top of the tree for that, but there's a lot of factors in play. Sure drugs and alcohol will play a part as well, but then they always have done.

Lol stop peddling such shit man get back on the covid forum
Seen this @bomber

There has literally been dozens of posts from others blaming cocaine. You upset because you love being on the gear. Bless
I agree that coke contributes to the problem but that drug on its own causes no bother. It’s when it’s mixed with alcohol the problems start. People drink more when on the dust and then want to fight the world.

Remember when thousands of your fans rioted when we stuffed you 3-0
Rioted 😂😂 A few bins got turned over and a horse lamped. I’ve seen more bother down Concord on a Saturday night.
1990 post play-off there was a lot of bother with the polis but that never got reported.
