The only option is to burn the house down and move into an igloo in the north Pole.Nope. It’s the extension and that Velux window is about 10ft up.
Also, it wasn’t that webby last week so the little shitebag is a fast weaver.
Latest: I’m now not sure if I’ve hoovered her up, or whether she’s just hiding behind the window frame. I could open the window to be certain, but see above for height of window and probability of spider-in-face disaster.
You get black widows in Spain???If I knew how to post photos onto here from my phone @HellsBells I could send you a shot of 7 critters I'v just fished out of a pool in Spain, 6 Black widows and 1 mediterranean funnel web. One of the black widows is the largest I've seen in 20 years.
They’re fast and 10ft up.Just squesh the fucker.
And then set fire to the hoover.I swear I had two of them in my conservatory earlier in the week. Both went up the hoover
Oh aye xAnd then set fire to the hoover.

@Gaz best I can do I'm afraid . By the time <i got there the with my lap top the funnel web had been carried off by an army of ants but you can kinda see the size of the other uggers.
Wat kind of spiders are them? Look massivethey look massive
Neither are my wooden window frames, sadly. They aren't overly fond of bleach.
Yeah. Copy and pasted below.
''There are more than 1,700 species of spiders in Spain, four of which are potentially dangerous to humans. The Black Widow Spider, Mediterranean Tarantula, Brown Recluse Spider and Mediterranean Funnel Web Spider can all deliver a nasty bite, although none are fatal to humans.''
The first and last are all round the land. The Black widow is actually protected but they are common as muck on a Mag.
One day our Spanish neighbour spotted one on our terrace and she squished it. Its abdomen split open and literally dozens and dozens of baby spiders scuttled off in every direction. It was really , really gross. My experience though is they are more frightened of you than you are of them but never pick up a loose rock without being aware there'll probably be one hiding underneath.
They look like big pieces of hairy moss that fell off my roof. Not what I’d expect a black widow to look like.WIN_20210722_20_51_17_Pro.jpg
