Falafels

Anyone buying them in plastic cartons from Aldi/Morrisons or whatever are quite right to think they're crap, get them freshly made with all the trimmings in quality flat bread and its as good as any street food anywhere.

Tried them the first time in Cairo and was blown away, cost about 40p he threw a few cheeky crisps in as well from under his barrow because he liked Jim Smith "The Bald Eagle" . I generally don't eat vegan stuff cos i love meat but middle eastern food like this is bursting with flavour, various pickles, sauces, mixed with citrus and spices is a taste sensation. It just fills you up without the kebab/meat stodge. Best place in Nottingham is Falafels Nottingham just off slab square, great food at student prices.
