Fabio holding out for AC Milan move - delusion

I don't follow Italian football much but aren't Milan a mid table team these days? Also he got a pay rise in the winter transfer window to stay at Sunderland amid interest from AC Milan. Something that hardly gets a mention on here.

Good post mate Moyes had him playing as a virtual second left back for most of the season no wonder he didn't prosper.

That is absolutely true. Along with Wickham he has spent most of his time here hamstrung by having to cover for PVA. With the right manager he could be a hero here again, but I think it is unlikely he will stick around with another World Cup around the corner.

Giaccherini got his move on the back of a very good World Cup performance. Borini isn't even an international.

Giaccherini is a decent player that we never used properly. Di Canio didn't ask for him but after his previous insistence for British players was continually ignored, eventually agreed to the purchase. In all his time at the club he was never played regularly in a position to maximise his ability.

Borini (who incidentally does have one full Italian cap) is a great player in his own mind and a very average one in reality. Even he, however, has far more to offer than we've seen at Sunderland recently. He seems a very petulant man by nature and like many others he seemed to effectively down tools last season.

Nonsense

Out of kilter with most here but I am prepared to make huge allowances for him, Kone and Khazri. We know they are better players and with that fuckwit misery inducing clueless Moyes in charge they hit rock bottom. All of them motivated under a half decent manager would do well for us, it's not going to happen I know.

The amount of people who only a few month ago were still pulling their skin back over him who are now slating him is unbelievable. Fickle as fuck!
Quite how people couldn't see he was a run of the mill player before we signed him is beyond me. We had a full season of him on loan to find it out
