F1 2023

After the race Christine was asked why Max was constantly told of the gap to Perez but Perez wasn't told of the gap to Max. Christine said Perez is told their lap times every lap, he can easily work it out.
So Max is told the gap but Perez has to work it out. There is no number one driver though.

That’s the thing about conspiracy theories though - they can be as abstract as required and any evidence to the contrary is simply ignored like it doesn’t exist. Once a narrative is established it will not be eroded.

There is no doubt that any team with a reigning world champion will have them as lead driver by default. That isn’t news. The real question is what actual effect that has to the detriment of the number two. With the teams dominance this season they know the sponsors want headlines and it is a no brainier that Perez be encouraged helped or contrived to a stronger position. All the evidence was there yesterday- but Max just drove too well in mid-race.

Is correct, anybody who thinks the awful MV is not given preferential treatment is kidding themselves

I had a quick look but couldn't find out what tyre each driver started on, I have a suspicion that those who started on hard tyres gained more places than those who started on mediums.

Proof of what? Things that happened during a race that we just watched?

Try looking at the live timing screen that is available on the FIA website, or about 50 other sources and you’ll see for yourself. You’re free to believe that Checo magically drove over a second faster when Max got right behind Max by choice if you want but I don’t believe in coincidences like that
You said "checho was made to back the pack up" just asking where your proof of this is. To answer your other point, the track and tyres change during the race, affecting different cars in different ways, widely reported in over 51 places (should I put one of your standard childish insults here? Go on ) if you bothered to watch the race.

The point I took from this was both drivers get lots of information, by different crew members , if Perez wants more info or in a different format he should ask for that? The thing I took was that sky mainly broadcast MVs coms as there is more chat rather than just data.

Thought it was a good interview , hope he's right and other teams start to get an advantage through RBs penalties to make the season interesting

I have no idea how the F1 TV company chooses which radio to play or not, but I have thought that for the last two seasons they don’t choose a Perez message until he’s in the shit somehow, thinking to Saudi as another example. And I’ve said already, the race engineer on car 2 has a weird school teacher manner when talking to the various incumbents…

The only chance anyone has is Aston Martin with the extra 50% or so tunnel time they have because of where they finished last year.
No surprise with Fallows going there and their car being the most similar to red bull.

Really hope Alonso can pick up a win or two because I can’t see anyone else coming close bar accidents.

Perhaps the racing gods will fix the Spanish GP, in the same way as Monza ‘88…
Everyone needs to accept that Red Bull have constructed a very good car
Indisputable. I thought last years car was Neweys finest, perhaps this one beats the lot.

Saw the mechanics celebrating the podium. Tbh, should be happy for the largely British team.

It's really only the leadership that are awful. 2 or 3 people
There is no doubt that the car is superb. What people, or let’s change this, what I am unhappy about, is the fact red bull cheated and breached the cost cap.

That fact introduces doubt into their sporting integrity.

Secondly, Horner, Wheatley, Max and his father are extremely unlikeable.

For balance, I thought Max drove superbly yesterday but he has less need to drive like a getaway driver as his car is so superior to the rest of the field.
