F1 2021

Piercarlo Ghinzani perhaps? 80s pre-quali failure specialist?
.

just googled worst f1 drivers ever, and Chanoch Nissany came up as number one? roy's dad according wiki.
.

Nissany only had one practice session that he paid for, doesn't really count. There have been some horrendous drivers over the years, Deletraz, Rosset, Ide; I don't think Mazepin is quite on that level just yet, but he's comfortably the worst driver over the last decade and in my opinion it makes a mockery of the Super Licence system that someone like him can get into F1 despite winning pretty much nothing in his junior career, whilst, as Mario Andretti pointed out recently, Colton Herta can't get one despite winning races in IndyCar.

n 2019, Williams Driver Academy signed leading W Series contender Jamie Chadwick as a development driver for the Williams F1 team.[29] Chadwick later won the 2019 W Series championship, and is continuing as a Williams development driver in 2020.

The last woman to attempt to qualify for a Formula One Grand Prix was Italian Giovanna Amati in 1992. She tried to qualify for three races, but failed in all attempts. She was replaced by Damon Hill, who also failed to qualify the car in the 6 out of 8 following races he entered that season

she's doing the e extreme series this year, its designed so that each team have two drivers - one male & one female... in the opening round her team mate totaled their car before she had a chance to drive - somewhat ironic in the face of the woman driver jibes...

it would be nice to see a Female F1 driver soon.

The advances female athletes have made in lots of sports in the last 5 - 10 years are incredible . Yes, F1 is physical but i see no reason why a woman could not drive an F1 car competitively in the very near future.

Would be very hard for them as F1 cars are incredibly physical to drive compared to other marques such as GT and Touring cars
Nowhere near as much these days though, are they?
And the lower weight would be a big advantage

I had no idea Hill raced in F1 before Williams

Brabham (1992)[edit]

Hill started his Grand Prix career during the 1991 season as a test driver with the championship-winning Williams team while still competing in the F3000 series.[25] However, midway through 1992 Hill broke into Grand Prix racing as a driver with the dying Brabham team. The formerly competitive team was in serious financial difficulties. Hill started the season only after three races, replacing Giovanna Amati after her sponsorship had failed to materialise.[26] Amati had been unable to get the car through qualifying but Hill matched his teammate, Eric van de Poele, by qualifying for two races, the mid-season British and Hungarian Grands Prix. Hill continued to test for the Williams team that year and the British Grand Prix saw Nigel Mansell win the race for Williams, while he finished last in the Brabham.[27] The Brabham team collapsed after the Hungarian Grand Prix and did not complete the season.[28]
