I’m wondering if Mercedes have found a compound for the rear wing that flexes with heat. Therefore retaining enough rigidity to pass the static flex test.

There's a clear gap opens up where the middle/lower piece of the wing meets the large side-plate.
Its defintely something moving.
Ah, I see what you mean. Is that just a reflection, or something to do with the car making a big change in direction from left to right.

I'm still questioning the whole video tbh. Is it even Brazil, the grandstands also appear to be completely empty?

Your point is valid, the video is very poor. Its interesting, though.

On reflection, why would flexing backwards create a gap to the end-plate? It would scrape along it, if anthing. I assumed it would physically connected to the end-plate anyway?

I don't think it is, but I certainly can't be sure from that video.

The rear wing is a bimetallic strip?
Kind of, or possibly a more advanced composite. It’s the only way I can see that they would pass the tests.

I sincerely hope that they are. And Christine goes off the rails with jealousy as Hamilton and Mercedes romp off with both titles.

I just hope they haven't actually cheated. Being clever is one thing, but doing a Ferrari is different.

Why would it move AWAY from the end plate though? Its 2 flat surfaces at a perpendicular intersection. Why is there a gap being created? Maybe it twists?
I figured the slant was for speed/downforce....i'm sure Red Bull want to know too

Just me who can't see any movement in that video? The obvious sign of any flex would be when the drs is closed surely, as there'd be more force on the wing than when the drs is open.

Everything is f***ing wobbly on that clip, mainly as the camera tries it's hardest to smooth out camera shake. Nothing in that clip proves anything
