Not many tracks let your race through 2-3 corners and have a chance of swapping places. Its really rare actually. Its great. This circuit has to remain on the calendar. Considering we had no rain and no safety car, that was an incredible race!
Absolute dominance from Lewis, showing why he is undoubtedly the GOAT.
I honestly though the stars lined up for MS in a way that would never happen again.Amazing i did not think Michaels record would get beaten but dear me what a driver.
If only he was as good looking as PunchHis dad is proud as punch.
Very hard to find a reliable and very very good #2 though. I still think he does a class job. Who would replace him? Not Ocon or Russel, that's for sure.Bottas is indeed a water carrier.
Last time they actually had a question in the debrief asking if Bono was ok after they tried to drown him.I honestly though the stars lined up for MS in a way that would never happen again.
But Lewis could still absolutely blow him away.
If only he was as good looking as Punch
Bono getting drowned here
Keep him #2, let George take over.Very hard to find a reliable and very very good #2 though. I still think he does a class job. Who would replace him? Not Ocon or Russel, that's for sure.
He does, he can't win the title at Imola, but he only needs to gain 2 points on Bottas in Imola and Turkey and the title is his.May be wrong I've not seen the standings but does lewis have a 77 point lead now?
I'm just quoting Briatore. Difficult to be a number 2 in Mercedes tbfVery hard to find a reliable and very very good #2 though. I still think he does a class job. Who would replace him? Not Ocon or Russel, that's for sure.
What words do we think Norris used under those beeps?!
Quick apology from him. He has the potential to make some sponsors a lot of money, seems to be well liked in social media/streaming environments. It goes without saying, some industrial language is included.
And yet the goat hasn’t once and for some reason is dislikedCould say the same for Prost on Senna at Suzuka '89, Senna on Prost at Suzuka '90, Schumacher various times, Alonso deliberately knacking up Hamiltons race in the pits at Hungary 2007.
Many other champions and instances too.
In the heat of the moment the best have all acted like t**ts at some point.
a) Albon should be gone, Gasly is just better
b) Lewis is somehow underrated despite being a Champion. Don't know why he's not talked about as much, but he's a bonafide legend of the sport, and a Brit to boot. One of the greatest drivers I have seen.
I saw Schumacher as well, and Lewis's consistency is right up there. He's amazing in the wet and in dry. He's great in qualifying and in the race. Hire tire management is second to none.
He should get more coverage than he does for what he's done for British motorsport.
