Front wings looking more like a slotted single wing than a mass if random bits of carbon fibre.
 
It's because they are one flat piece now rather than being full of slots and winglets.

Not quite. The new regulations limit the front wing piece to a total of no more than 5 independent winglets, how the teams create this is at their own discretion. Additionally, there is a restriction on the tail-in angle of the pieces with the intent of limiting airflow redirection under the car and hence limiting the vortices generated at the rear end, enabling overtaking.

The wings used, like every year, will be placeholders and nothing like that used in Melbourne. Likewise with the Red Bull livery, that won’t be used in the race season, and will be a testing specific livery created to divert attention from the finer details of the car - last years car launch was a zebra if you remember back.
