RTG Sunderland Message Boards

There seems to be a body of thought on the board who say Exiles who do not live in Britain should not have an opinion on any issues which are happening in Britain because they do not live there. Some accept that Exiles can have an opinion but that it is not valid and is irrelevant because it does not directly affect them.
Do people think that in order to have a relevant opinion about issues in Britain that people need to live there ?
Also, should posters who are internal Exiles within Britain and not living in the North East be able to comment on things in the North East such as local politics. If so are their views relevant ?
