Diego Simeone the Athletico Madrid manager . Admire the way he has taken on the wealth and power of Real Madrid and Barcelona . Would rather watch 90 minutes of his passion and enthusiasm on the touchline , than 90 minutes of our current first team .

Paul Scholes in my era
Stanley Matthews staying in Brazil after Englands elimination in the1950 World Cup to learn from better teams when we thought we were better than everyone, maintaining a largely plant based diet to prolong his career and then forming a kids team in Apartheid Soweto and taking them of a tour of Brasil.
Bit random but Gary Mabbutt seems a thoroughly nice and genuine bloke.
My brothers is a Spurs fan and my dad used to take us all over the North from 87-93 to Spurs away matches. We used to hang around at the team bus for autographs after the game and Mabbutt used to have to get practically grabbed onto the bus when they were leaving. Him and Gazza were amazing. Proper gents
