I've tried Google but can't seem to locate what I'm after.

So I have a spreadsheet with numbers in columns C - G. I also have a number in column H. What I want is for Excel to multiply the highest number located in C - G by the number in column H. Any help would be massively appreciated!!

I think to get the max it'll be something like MAX(C:G) then just normal multiply maybe?

Just guessing at the last bit but it'll be something along those lines

I think Max will find the highest number in a range but won't select it so probably no good for an onward calc. I'm no expert, mind.

=(MAX(C1:G1))*H1
Assuming you just wanted it for each row you'll just copy the formula down.
