Every footballing pundit says no Red card

Hardly surprising Adrian Durham on talkbollix radio is laying into Gus Poyet and Sunderland's terrible disciplinary record.

Much easier reffing a game and getting on your high horse like pundits do when you can watch half a dozen replays then make a comment on it. I garenutee you any of these pundits reffed a game or any knopw it all football fans they would make fucks up worse then what Friend has today
I'm an owld f***ing man watching on a dodgy stream and I could tell it was a good tackle, stop talking shite man.

I think he (ref) initially thought it was a legit tackle hence the massive pause before giving the red, but I think all this 'intention' nonsense being pressed by the FA is just clouding ref's decision making.

IMO the FA are softening up the English game in order to fall in line more with the way continental refs officiate in the hope that it will aid the England side

I am not saying it wasnt a horrendous decision ffs. Its plainly obvious it was[DOUBLEPOST=1385228089][/DOUBLEPOST]
You a ref by any chance Rob? Watching in real time I said "great tackle". Yes, refs will make mistakes but things like the decision today are inexcusable and indefensible.

It was a shocker of a decision mate, point I always make is that it isnt the first and wont be the last time a decision that bad is given. As much as its hard to take it has always happened and will continue to happen. We were dealt a shite hand today with it but we got away with one against Man City a fortnight ago

I know that mate, the ref fucked up big style just as the ref did who didn't send Larson off against Man City

a debatable red that was hard to spot at full speed, against a one that looked nothing like it where the ref had perfect position? utterly spurious comparison.

simple as this. If refs keep f***ing up (and they do, it isnt bias, they're just shit) we need to give them help. And im not buying the 'pace of the game has increased' etc. excuses, the standard these days is just pathetic. so we need to help them.

If we're lucky, there'll be some spectacularly poor decisions against England in the WC and we'll get video referees in the same vein we got goal line technology after the last euros

this word has creeped into the game and like the phrase " there was contact" should be banned!
who knows what the intention is other than the player himself, or it is blatantly obvious that he tried to snap his leg!
