Straight through Antons legs 'cos the soft shite turned his back on it. It should have been a regulation block, wasn't even struck with power

Nowt Bardsley could do really, it's a natural reaction to stick your foot out when the ball flies past it, it did look a soft goal initially and I was gutted but a draw was a fair result

No Everton were f***ing brilliant better than Brazil 1970, Barca and Real Madrid all rolled into one.:roll::roll:

Could have got more onto it tbh as the OP said it wasn't going with that much power

I don't blame Bards for trying to get a foot to it. He was wrong footed by Anton being megged by it. Ferdinand was slow to re=act and close it down and then when he did it was soft.

I often wonder whether you are an alter ego on a wind up. I refuse to believe that someone can be so simple.

Simple is making yourself feel better by pretending that Everton are the world masters of total football when they are ordinary.

He wasn't really expecting it though was he, as the OP stated it went through Ferdinand's legs and Bardsley was stood right behind him

When the ball was struck Bardsley's view was blocked by Ferdinand and he had an Everton player right infront of him. Did reasonably well to get anything on it whereas Ferdinand could and should have got a full block in. If he'd reacted better he could have been in at Arteta before he got his head up to go for the shot.

Nah Arteta is Pele, Cahill is God and Everton are unbeatable that's the SMB. ;)
