Back five from last season have all struggled this season for various reasons (injury, form, age), Barkley suffering from form issues and fitness issues, Osman seems to have disappeared, signings haven't worked well - the Atsu loan makes Coates look like a good deal, Eto'o gone already, Barry and Lukaku not looking as good after signing permanently as they did on loan, Besic having an adjustment season.

I don't see why not. Martinez is a cup manager and they came through a tough group with ease.
You don't just switch it on and off IMO. Their awful form will catch up with them. There's a few teams left who would beat them home and away. I really can't see them winning it

He played Barkley wide left

Lukaku at £28mln - well Chelsea had their pants down

His signings have been dogshit, with the exception of James McCarthy who is a smashing footballer

McGeady's been inconsistently okay but doesn't get a run the team. McCarthy's the only one of his ex-Wiganers who's worked out.

They don't have a chance IMO

Got a decent draw in the next round and a lot of the more fancied teams got drawn against each other (Villareal vs Sevilla, Fiorentina vs Roma IIRC) - opens things up massively. They also humped one of the favourites, Wolfsburg, in the group stages. They've got a chance.

Everton fans at work have a even bleaker out look on the season than us.
Not happy at all, it'll be a dull affair when we play them later this season[/QUOTE]
Like QPR they will be struggling to win a game !!! Oops hold on here come the team you want to play in a crisis

Most would have fancied Wolfsburg to beat them. I'd make Everton about 5th favourites right now, but I don't think it would be a massive shock if they beat any of those other teams over 2 legs.
