Everton v Utd

Sigurdsson is obstructing De Gea's view as it's not just when the ball is kicked. Look at this snapshot and you can see Sigurdsson is blocking De Gea's view of the deflected ball.

If Sigurdsson isn't there then De Gea may well have seen it more clearly and reacted to save it (I will hoy a gif up to show what I mean). De Gea seems to move to his right but only after it's hit Maguire's foot as he thinks it's going that way.

Theres the rules. Now stop whining on ffs.

Anyone who thinks VAR worked there well I wouldn't leave you with my dog

Full of WUMs and Kopites in this thread mate I would walk away quick.

They think a bloke sat on the floor is blocking the view of someone stood up behind them - unless De Gea is a dwarf thats BS

Obsessed by the lad its beyond embarrassing
It’s called the laws of the game.

Ive already said I’d prefer the attacking side to get benefit of doubt but hes right in front of De Gea and under letter of law that’s enough.

If Fat Sam was manager goal given
Not as embarrassing as him claiming agendas
Tbh I doubt VAR would've given offside if that was Firmino on the floor moving away from the ball

He’s an absolute helmet tbf so I’d expect nothing else but I can’t believe so many others can’t see it was absolutely the correct decision

From the bloke who accuses someone of being "racist" for saying Utd have alot of glory hunting fans from Asia thats rich

Atleast Chops has the excuse of being a glory hunting Red & Jardine a wannabe Talksport host - you're just Billy the Boy who cries wolf!

VAR is a disgrace and I agree, but in this particular case, it's about interpretation of a poorly written rule, so it would vary massively by referee not by ground

I agree with you. But if it were theother way round and United "scored" in the 93rd minute at Old Trafford I would wager any amount of money that the goal would stand.

NO! NO! NO!

Bitter Bluenose how dare you say that!!

Bundesliga amongst other leagues dont have these VAR issues because the English FA and their refs are absolutely useless and/or corrupt.

No other explanation.

You really are blinkered aren't you?:lol: De Gea isn't standing, he's crouched and Sigurdsson's head is directly in his vision of where the ball is when it's deflected.

Even with the vagueness of the offside rule it's seems to be the reason why VAR ruled it out.
