Simply for the fact that no comments by SAFC on this matter or denying the statement Koné regarding a new contract made would suggest there was an offer or promise. If SAFC had the desire to rubbish the rumours that Koné may be about to be sold I'm sure that would placate most supporters. By not doing so, SAFC have just fanned the rumour flames.
If there are negotiations going on or to be had with Everton and / or Kone, the right thing for SAFC to say is nowt.

I spoke to a Wolves fan at dinner and he reckons McKay played up a bit when he was Henri Camara's agent. I hope that this helps.

BOLTON Wanderers are know leading the chase for Wolves star Striker Henri Camara, according to Camara's notorious money-grabbing agent Willie McKay.

Wolves Fans have made Scottish money-grabbing agent Willie McKay somewhat of a hate figure in the past twelve months.

Many of the gold and black faithful believe that the Monte Carlo based Agent has 'used' Wolves time and time again in a bid to get better deals for a whole host of African players he represents.

It was McKay who was heavily involved in the deal which saw Modeste M'Bami's move to Molineux collapse in the final few hours when the Cameroon International was set to put pen to paper at Molineux.

And now Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey has shown his disgust at McKay following the news that Wolves player of the season Henri Camara had asked for a move away from Molineux.

The growing belief is that Willie McKay has persuaded Henri Camara to move away from Molineux, despite the Striker who scored 5 goals in 5 games in the latter part of the season declaring his love for Wolves and his will to help Wolves back to the Premiership.

Nowt been mentioned on either the BBC's collection of transfer gossip today or in the one on the Sky Sports site when I last checked

They run a sports news channel and run a betting website on which you can place bets on transfers. I don't think that should be allowed to be fair. They obviously start some of these transfer rumours off just to make themselves money.

SkyBet is nothing to do with Sky TV.
