Ffs he's only been in a top league since January. Looked good but hardly a 20m plus proven talent.
Well you've not seen him play have you?

When Karanka has to politely ask Mr Kone if he can please have Negredo back from out of his pocket after our game you'll understand.

Newcastle fans on Twitter were adamant Mbemba was better last year...

In fairness we've just signed a player for £8mil whose played a about 1 minute in the Premier league. 20mil sounds about right tbf

Just tell them to fuck off, makes no odds how much we sell players for if we can't get the equivalent or better in to replace them. Then hoof his agent in the nuts, just as a friendly warning in case he's trying to engineer a move just for another payday

Think we've already seen how difficult it is to get quality players in this transfer window. Everybody is paying way over the odds and its proving difficult to sign players so £17m will not really do us any good. I'd much rather have the player who we know is a good player than sell him and then have to find a player of equal quality for the same money.

The price is irrelavent unless it gets to a point where someone is willing to pay daft money like £30m plus.

They can pay 25m rising to 30m or they can forget it
Not enough. The valuation of Stones is the benchmark here, particularly as Everton are the bidding team. Kone is the better player of the two, so the fee should reflect that.

I think he's more than proved himself, I didn't know there was a time frame for it, but true enough twenty million isn't right. 35 plus would be a more realistic figure.
