Eustace inbound then?

If the owners flew out to Europe on Saturday was Eustace on his holidays somewhere ?

Who would your top three realistic choices be?
Carlos Corberan would be my first choice - West Brom are in major financial crisis and potentially selling some of their better players in January. He might fancy Sunderland if offered the chance and he is arguably the best tactician in the league.

Undecided on my other final 2 but Eustace wouldn't be in it. although I wouldn't complain much about it

Now you're talking! I think, with the possible exception of McKenna at Ipswich, Corberan is the best manager/coach in The Championship. I couldn't believe Leeds wouldn't pay the £2m. release clause in the summer to get him. But WBA are close to being taken over so it might be difficult to prise him out.
Although I'm advocating for Eustace I'd definitely prefer Corberan if we could get him.

The fact we play West Brom on Saturday could bring him into the equation i think.

It's probably not happening but it would be the best choice for me.

Has anyone actually seen the downturn in Birminghams form since he left there?

I have no idea if he would be a good manager for us or not if I'm honest but some of the overreactions on here are laughable.

He had them competing near the top before he got sacked.
So did Mowbray at times.
