they hae n such rue its a big myth...
Rightio.
That's why it's less than 10 euro to watch bayern or Borrusia.
It's why they've all said no to this shit.

Rb leipzig have shares which are so expensive that they can't really be owned by fans, so they get round it that way.
The other bits not a myth.
Iirc bayern Munich are 70+1

pl clubs join other comps every year...poxy cups played abroad that are pre season friendlies..you telling e they ask forpermission fot that?

If its typical of other sports, yes in a way they generally do as all of the competitions will be held under the auspices of the national authority of that country, which will be affiliated to FIFA.

The Super League as of now isn't affiliated to FIFA.

WHat happens to these clubs academies? Do we allow their U21s etc still play with the rest of the clubs excluded from this elite club? How do they sort out all the refs etc?
Maybe they‘ll be excluded and will have to form their own u18 / u23 league.

if that’s the case can we at least try to get the kids Stewie binned off to keep the lights on back where they belong?

Let them go, they've been trying it for years, let them have their pie but only if there is repercussions for failure.

Fans have their chance to do something about it, it's not even that difficult. Just don't watch it and cancel your subscription to whoever takes it on.

Use the money to support your local team or if your big six then look for the nearest non-league team. Sure it'll be shit for a bit missing some of the big fixtures but other teams will replace them, it'll be more competitive and it's a much better chance for the smaller clubs to win something meaningful without being placed at huge disadvantage due to money.

Should the ESL fail then send the six teams to the bottom of the leagues and make them work their way back up, maybes put a ban on promotion for a while to let the point sink in and drag them financially back to the level of everybody else.

Deduct 100 points from each for this season's and kick them out the cups, replace them with next ranked teams who aren't in. Don't let them buggar off with anything.

Ban players from national teams as well. Let them know if they wanna sell out then there's also a price for doing so.

If people boycott it and stick with the proper English League then it will flop and media services will have to go with what people are watching. It's that simple.

see the other thread...there are several bundeslegia clubs including leverkusen and hoffenheim, owed by corprates..therefore its not a rule...its something some teams do..
and bayern have not said yes or no yet, nor have dortmund,..

Am I the only one that is quite excited that this might happen?

It will get rid of the money grabbing clubs with no interest in anything but making money for themselves at the expense of anyone else and will make our leagues more competitive.

Kick them out now, scrap relegation this season and then you can just promote the top six in each league.

This may be the best year to just not need the playoffs for a season as with little or no fans to attend then clubs who would be in the playoffs won't benefit as much financially.

This is how you stop the super league in its tracks the premier league, the fa etc release a joint statement stating that any participating club will be stripped of all cup wins and titles and they will have all references to the club removed from all football museums and any living player or manager will be asked to return any medals. Shit storm ensues and it all gets forgotten about.
There are no words to describe what these six clubs are doing, I’m a bit long in the tooth and I suppose a traditionalist, there will be many who say “why not” , I can’t give a reasoned argument against those people, but all as I would say is I’m fully behind what Gary Neville said yesterday, now let’s see the Premier League grow a pair and take action against these clubs (not that they’re bothered) suspend them from the League with immediate effect and tell them to bugger off, see I told you I didn’t have the words but I hope my sentiment comes across?

Dortmund gave an unequivocal no this morning, and said that Bayern were 100% in alignment with them. RBL have also indicated they aren't interested.

Man City will be the one to watch in that regard. They’re not completely ‘disneyfied’ (or they weren’t last time we played them) and have plenty of local and “genuine” fans who have attended for years before they were good. They’ll probably oppose this whole thing, but are now in a lose lose situation. Either kicked out the league, or be part of this thing they hate.
Two City fans on Talksport were very much against the new super league . One in particular stated that the times that they were a yo-yo club were very fresh in their memory and he didn’t know a City fan who was supportive of the breakaway.

So what do these 6 have to play for in the premier league? They are in Europe automatically, they can't be relegated from it so if they finish above 16th they will still get both cash deals
